There will not be a fly-in at The Auburn University Regional Airport in 2011.

Fly-In Update

The fly-in is a great day for the family, pilots, veterans and aviation enthusiasts and it was designed to raise much needed dollars for our local programs at the American Red Cross. The fly-in started in 2004 and in 2010 we held our 7th annual event.  Everyone loves the fly-in including the Red Cross!  Unfortunately it has grown to be a costly and time consuming event to put on and sponsorships have dwindled.  The Red Cross can no longer afford to administer the event and as a result there will be no fly-in in 2011.

A group of key volunteers and planners is currently working with our airport staff to determine if and how we can continue to hold a fly-in in the Auburn-Opelika area.  If you would like to be involved in this committee please contact us at 334-749-9981.
