WELCOME MESSAGE

The American Red Cross and Auburn University have a long history of cooperation and partnership.  For over 40 years Auburn has hosted Red Cross blood drives and many Auburn students are active Red Cross volunteers and supporters.  Some students have graduated and gone on to work full- time for the Red Cross.  Auburn University staff, faculty and students continue to serve on the Board of Directors of our local Lee County Red Cross which is located in nearby Opelika.

In 2007 the partnership rose to a new level when the Auburn University Red Cross Campus Club was born. An officially chartered group through the American National Red Cross and the Auburn University SGA, our club is dedicated to engaging Auburn students in the mission of the American Red Cross: To help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.

The Red Cross does many things including:

  • Disaster Education & Response
  • Services to the Armed Forces
  • Health & Safety Education
  • Blood & Biomedical Services
  • International Services
  • Youth Services & Mentoring

Our club is very active and always looking for new members. We meet the first Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the student center.  We invite you to join us!
