The 6th Annual Lee County Red Cross Art Auction was held on Saturday, June 9 at Flip Flop Foto located at
116 S. 8th Street in downtown Opelika. The silent auction began at 5:00 p.m. and the live auction started at 6:30 p.m. The next day sale took place on Sunday, June 10 from 10-2 at Flip Flop Foto.
The silent auction featured works of art produced by local artisans as well as merchandise, goods and gift certificates from area merchants. Thanks to everyone who donated items for the silent auction.
The live auction was be presented by Regency Fine Art of Atlanta, GA. Items were presented for every taste and budget. Starting bids on some items were as low as $45. From original oils to lithographs to sculpture and sports memorabilia, there was truly be something for everyone! If you missed the auction visit Regency Fine Art online and look at their inventory. All proceeds benefited the Lee County Red Cross and help to to provide vital programs such as disaster education and relief; armed forces emergency services; health and safety training; blood collection and supply; youth services; and more in our community. OVER $10,000 WAS RAISED!
